Zhongshan Hospital Fudan University

Lisen collaborated with Zhongshan Hospital for the research of 

imprinted genes related to early lung cancer diagnosis. 

Zhongshan Hospital is a subsidiary unit of the National Health 

and Family Planning Commission, and is affiliated with Fudan 

University. The hospital opened in 1937 and was the first 

large-scale Chinese medical institution at that time. Initially 

named as the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hospital, it was previously 

affiliated with the National Shanghai Medical College. It was 

recognized as one of the first batch of Class A hospitals in 

Shanghai by the Ministry of Health in 1991.


Chinese Alliance Against Lung Cancer

Lisen collaborated with the Chinese Alliance Against Lung Cancer 

(CAALC) for the research of imprinted genes related to early 

lung cancer diagnosis. The CAALC organization was formally 

established in 2012 at the China Lung Cancer Prevention and 

Treatment Alliance - American College of Chest Physicians 

(ACCP) - Shanghai Lung Science Association Meeting. Fudan 

University professor Chunxue Bai, who was also the director 

of Shanghai Institute of Respiratory Diseases and Department of 

Respiratory Medicine of Zhongshan Hospital, served as the CAALC 

chairman, while Nanshan Zhong of the Chinese Academy of 

Engineering served as the honorary chairman.


Shanghai Changzheng Hospital

Lisen collaborated with Shanghai Changzheng Hospital for the 

research of imprinted genes related to the diagnosis of various 

early cancer types. Shanghai Changzheng Hospital is a tertiary 

hospital with a comprehensive medical and scientific research 

facility, and is currently affiliated with the Second Military 

Medical University. Its current name was acquired in 1966, but 

it has been renamed from 'Baolong Hospital' (1900), 'National 

Tongji University Affiliated Hospital' (1930), 'China-US Hospital' 

(1948), 'Shanghai Emergency Surgery Hospital' (1955) and 'Second 

Affiliated Hospital of the Second Military University' (1958).


Shanghai Institute of Respiratory Diseases

Lisen collaborated with the Shanghai Institute of Respiratory 

Diseases for the research of imprinted genes related to early 

lung cancer diagnosis. The institute was established in 2012 at 

Zhongsan Hospital Fudan University, comprising five innovative 

laboratories, namely the Pulmonary Infection Laboratory, Clinical 

Respiratory Physiology Laboratory, Biophysical Laboratory, Cell 

and Molecular Biology Laboratory, Internet of Things Medical 

Laboratory. With focus on respiratory infections, chronic airway 

diseases and lung cancer, the institute explores the key issues 

in the prevention and treatment of these diseases through its 

innovation-led research on pathogenesis.


Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences

Institute of Dermatology

Lisen collaborated with the Institute of Dermatology from the 

Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences for the research of 

imprinted genes related to early skin cancer diagnosis. 

Originally named the Central Institute of Dermatology and 

Sexually-Transmitted Diseases, the institute was founded in 

Beijing in 1954 prior to relocating to Nanjing in 1984. It has 

been a nationally-recognized professional institution directly 

managed by the Central Ministry of Health, which pioneered the 

medical education and scientific research on the treatment and 

prevention of skin diseases including leprosy, as well as 

sexually-transmitted diseases. The institute was also tasked to 

lead the national STD and leprosy management and control.


Eastern Hepatobiliary Hospital

Lisen collaborated with the Eastern Hepatobiliary Hospital for 

the research of imprinted genes related to early liver cancer 

diagnosis. The organization is headed by Professor Mengchao 

Wu - a pioneer of hepatobiliary surgery in China from the Chinese 

Academy of Medical Sciences. Since the EHBH's establishment in 1956, 

the hospital has become the leading education and research 

authority specializing on the treatment and prevention of 

hepatobiliary diseases through its National Hepatobiliary Surgery 

Specialist Center and National Hepatobiliary Surgery Research 

Institute.  It has since been awarded as a Level III first-class 

specialization hospital.


Shanghai Chest Hospital

Lisen collaborated with the Shanghai Chest Hospital (SCH) for 

the research of imprinted genes related to early lung cancer 

diagnosis. Established in 1957, SCH is the first Level III 

hospital in China which integrated medical treatment, education 

and scientific research for the treatment and prevention of heart, 

lung, esophageal, tracheal and mediastinal diseases. It has since 

been designated as the National Cardiothoracic Surgery Training 

Center by the Ministry of Health, and was awarded the Grade III 

Class A Hospital rating in 1988.  In 2004, it also became the 

subsidiary chest hospital of the Shanghai Jiaotong University.


Zhongda Hospital Southeastern University

Lisen collaborated with the Zhongda Hospital Southeastern 

University for the research of imprinted genes related to 

early lung cancer diagnosis. It was founded in 1935 and has 

since developed into a large-scale and comprehensive medical 

institution integrating medical treatment, education and scientific 

research. It is the only university-affiliated hospital in Jiangsu 

Province involved with the '985' and '211' projects directly 

managed by the Jiangsu Ministry of Education. It is also the only 

Level III hospital in the province as approved by the Ministry of 



Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital

Department of Thyroidology

Lisen collaborated with Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital for 

the research of imprinted genes related to early thyroid 

cancer diagnosis. The Thyroid Disease Diagnosis and Treatment 

Center is a newly established multidisciplinary institute 

specializing in the integration of medical treatment, education 

and scientific research on various thyroid diseases including 

tumors, Hashimoto's thyroiditis and hyperthyroidism, among others. 

The center is also capable of conducting fine needle aspiration 

of the thyroid gland, minimally invasive thyroid surgery, radical 

thyroidectomy and total endoscopy, as well as, thyroid surgery, 

postoperative isotope treatment of thyroid cancer and thyroid 

genetic testing.


Jiangyuan Hospital of Jiangsu Province

Lisen collaborated with Jiangyuan Hospital for the research of 

imprinted genes related to early thyroid cancer diagnosis. The 

hospital is affiliated with the Jiangsu Institute of Atomic 

Medicine, Clinical Department of the Ministry of Health's 

Nuclear Medicine Laboratory, and the Jiangsu Provincial People's 

Hospital. It established the Wuxi City Thyroid Disease Institute 

in 2010 as approved by the Wuxi Municipal Health Bureau.


The First People's Hospital of Changzhou

Lisen collaborated with the First People's Hospital of 

Changzhou for the research of imprinted genes related to early 

thyroid cancer diagnosis. Founded in 1918, it has developed 

into a Level III hospital which integrated medical treatment, 

education and scientific research, widely known for its advanced 

medical equipment, outstanding academic achievements and high-level 

medical research facility.


Nanjing First People's Hospital

Lisen collaborated with Nanjing First People's Hospital for 

the research of imprinted genes related to the diagnosis of 

various early cancer types. The hospital is affiliated with 

the Nanjing Medical University and belongs to the first batch 

of Level III first-class hospitals of the National Health and 

Family Planning Commission. It has been regarded as an authority 

to various medical fields by housing specialized centers and 

institutes including the National Center for Advanced Stroke, 

National Drug Clinical Trial Institute, Cardiac Coronary 

Intervention and Surgical Training Center, Endoscopy Medical 

Training Technical Center Peripheral Vascular Intervention 

Training Center, and Nuclear Medicine Center, among others.


Nanjing Chinese Medicine Hospital

Lisen collaborated with the Nanjing Chinese Medicine Hospital 

for the research of imprinted genes related to early colorectal 

cancer diagnosis. Established in 1956, it is the third affiliated 

hospital of the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

It has similarly integrated medical treatment, education and 

scientific research, and is widely known to specialize on chinese 

medicine with advanced medical equipment, strong technology and 

a board of experts and specialists in the field.
