Lisen collaborated with the Lankenau Institute of Medical Research (LIMR) for the research of imprinted genes related to early lung cancer diagnosis.
LIMR was one of the first US research institutes to focus on cancer when it was founded in 1927. It continues to serve as a non-profit, biomedical research institute located on the campus of Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, functioning as the research division of the Main Line Health System in Philadelphia. LIMR focuses on studies of cancer, cardiovascular, autoimmune, gastrointestinal and other diseases. The institute has four hospitals with more than 2,000 physicians, including a roster of esteemed medical researchers in the fields of immunology, oncology and cardiology. LIMR’s principal investigators are devoted to advancing innovative new approaches to formidable medical challenges, and using their basic, preclinical, clinical and translational research to support the clinical application and commercialization of the most advanced technologies.
